Chomper

An alligator chomping on a birthday cake...too cute! Reverse Confetti is hosting their last Sketch For You To Try and I knew I needed to play along.

I stamped and colored Later Alligator and adhered him to a panel with an action wobbler. The clouds and patterned paper are MFT.

LID:: April 2018 Release:: Day 3

Today is the last day of the Lil' Inker Designs April 2018 Release Showcase... I hope you've enjoyed seeing all this release offers! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jessica's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Design's Blog for the full link up.)

This first project means so much to me, and I hope it will for the recipient as well. My co-workers help parents who are adopting with the process, so I created a set of these cards for them to give out, using the new One Love Stamps and One Love Dies.

I started by stamping (using the rock and roll technique with two shades of green ink) the world, then die cutting it out. I lightly inked the edges in blue. I then die cut the word Love from the world, as well as a piece of colored card stock. The world was placed onto a white card base (embossed on the edges with the Tribal Chic Cover Up Die) and the Love word inlaid. I finished the card with a heat embossed sentiment from One Love.

This next project features many of the new item, and I adore how well they all fit together. I started by creating a card front with the amazing Brushed Plaid Stamp Set. I used a mint ink for the base, and then added darker mint individual stripes (included in the set.) This stamp set is exceptional for ease in creating a beautiful background! I then created a shaker with the Shaker Tag Die Set, adding iridescent sequins and a bow from twine.

I finished the card with a die cut sentiment from the Hello Word Die Set, and a big, beautiful bloom from the Best Mom Stamp Set, and Best Mom Dies.

Here's a look at the new release products showcased in my two projects today:

It is with pleasure that I get to send you to the talented Kimberly Rendino, as the next stop along the hop. I hope you get a chance to visit the Lil' Inker Designs Store now as products are already up at the store!!

Don't forget to leave a unique comment along the each of the stops on the hop! You can win the ENTIRE release by leaving unique comments on each of the stops along the hop each day.

Catherine Pooler:: Celebrate Friends Stamp of Approval:: Release Day!!

Oh my goodness, I'm back with a card to help remind you that the Celebrate Friends! Stamp of Approval Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs was released to StampNation members last night, and the Wait List this morning. If there are any available collections left, they are available right now! Hurry up and order here!

I started the card by die cutting a white panel from Catherine Pooler Ultra Smooth White Cardstock and set this aside. Then I die cut the super fun Hooray Die from pink cardstock, used the Morning Joe Border Dies (add-on) with orange and Sand Dunes Cardstock to create fun border to rest it on. Underneath, I stamped a sentiment from Woo-Hoo Stamp Set in Party Dress Ink underneath.

The cutest part of this card rests in the birthday cupcakes! I built the cupcakes from the Eat Cake Stamp Set, Tiki Torch, Party Dress and the new Mystery Ink Color, as well as the Eat Cake Dies (add-on).

I hope you had a chance to order the Celebrate Friends! Stamp of Approval Collection!

LID:: April 2018 Release:: Day 2

Today is the second of three days of the Lil' Inker Designs April 2018 Release Showcase... Once again, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring new stamps and dies! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jessica's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Design's Blog for the full link up.)

I've got my FAVORITE project to showcase today from this release, although each and every product from this release is amazing! I really enjoy how Laura from Lil' Inker Designs really thinks about how well every item in the release coordinates together, but also can be used separately. I was so inspired by these April products, it was hard to put them down!

I created the above project with the new Spring Wreath Die Set. This set can be traditional, or modern like I've made it here. I started with a white square card base, scored lines on the front to use as a base to ground my wreath, that was die cut from black, light green and turquoise card stock from the Spring Wreath Die Set. I die cut a banner from the One Love Die Set, added a stamped sentiment from Friends Stamp Set and the word die included in the Spring Wreath Die Set.

I made another square card for this next project, and I'm pleased as a pickle on how it turned out! I started with celery green card stock and used the Dual Dotted Squares Dies to cut add detail to the edges of the card, and adhered this to a white card base. I thought it mimicked the details in the beautiful stamp I used for the focal point. I stamped Have a Nice Day in light green onto the panel, then slightly shifted the placement and stamped it with a dark green. This created a cool shadow effect. I finished the card by adding a few simple white gel pen details, placing dots in the natural areas of the stamps.

LID:: April 2018 Release:: Day 1

Today is the first of three days of the Lil' Inker Designs April 2018 Release Showcase... Once again, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring new stamps and dies. I say this each time for the Lil' Inker Designs releases, but this one is the best yet! And, this month we are introducing a super sweet, extremely talented new design team member, Caly! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jessica's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Design's Blog for the full link up.)

The Cover Up Die: Dotted Chevrons is the star of the show on my first project. I could not wait to fill the dots with a rainbow of Nuvo Drops. I first started with a white card base, then die cut a white panel from the Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles and then the Cover Up Die: Dotted Chevrons. I adhered the panel to a white card base and filled each dot with Nuvo Drops in rainbow order. This took me about ten minutes, so easy and quick!

I finished the card with a panel cut from the interior of the new Shaker Tag Die Set and stamped a wonderful sentiment from Hand Drawn Happiness Stamps. (I also added some dark green Nuvo Drops to the leaves). The end result is a happy, rainbow card with wonderful, clean texture.

This release also includes a great graduation set too. The Grad Class 2018 Supplement is a perfection addition to Grad Class, and at a perfect price point as well. (Grad Class has been marked to $10 so both can be purchased for the price of a regularly marked stamp set!) I capitalized on the "Reach for the Stars" sentiment from the Grad Class 2018 Supplement Stamp Set and created a galaxy background. I paired it with a stamped cap from Grad Class. There are many sentiments from both sets that offer flexibility and creative freedom to make a fantastic graduation card.

Catherine Pooler:: Celebrate Friends Stamp of Approval Collection

Have you heard of the limited edition collections offered by Catherine Pooler Designs called Stamp of Approval?! Past releases have been spectacular and this one is just as spectacular and truly tons of fun!

Let me help introduce the Stamp of Approval Celebrate Friends Collection! The Stamp of Approval Celebrate Friends is an exclusive collection. The products were designed exclusively for this box, are brand new and won't be available separately for a number of months.

This happy box is jam packed full of items that are perfect for the coffee or tea lover, as well as to celebrate birthdays, accomplishments, etc.! I really love how all the items and add-ons of the collection work so well together. New for this Stamp of Approval, you can choose the Coffee Lovers Collection, Tea Lovers Collection, or both!

For my first project, I started with a panel of Catherine Pooler's Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, inked the Scattered Circles Stencil with embossing ink and heat embossed in white. This was mounted to a blue card stock base. (affiliate links used) Then I die cut coffee mugs and inked them up with It's A Boy Ink. One was inked on the right side of the cut, the other on the wrong side, forming mirror image mugs! I added some detail to the mugs with the Perfect Blend Stamp Set and Nuvo Drops. I die cut a sentiment from the Sweet Die in Black Cardstock and a stamped sentiment from the WooHoo Stamp Set. I finished by adding a tiny heart stamped in Party Dress and a few pink details by the sentiment.

I have another fun card featuring the new items from the new collection-this time focusing on the celebration aspect of the collection! I started with a square card base and panel using Catherine Pooler Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I matted the white panel with Black Cardstock. Onto the panel, I stamped a series of confetti from the Woo-Hoo Stamp Set in Flirty Fuschia, Bellini, Midnight, Tiki Torch and Tiara Ink. I added a die cut sentiment cut from Black Cardstock and the new Hooray Die and a stamped sentiment from the Woo-Hoo Stamp Set.

I finished the card by stamping the cute party hats in the Woo-Hoo Stamp Set, and die cutting them in the coordinating Woo-Hoo Dies. So, there is also a new ink color debuting in this collection, and I'll have a card on Tuesday featuring it, I can't wait for you to see it!

Abstract Florals // Right at Home + Catherine Pooler Ink Blog Hop

Creating with Right at Home Stamps and Catherine Pooler Inks is an ideal combination.
They just work together and go together, like peanut butter and jelly!
Today I'm participating in a blog hop featuring Right At Home Stamps and Catherine Pooler Inks. You can find the complete details and participating blogs on the Right at Home Blog.

I was drawn to the Abstract Florals Stamp Set for its limitless possibilities. I knew that the solid flowers would stamp so well with Catherine Pooler Inks! I started with Sand Dunes Card Stock (affiliate link used) and created flowers with the following inks: Melon Ice and Lime Rickey for the leaves and stems, and for the flower tops I used Tiara and Sauna, Bellini and Mandarin Orange, and It's a Girl and Party Dress.

I mounted the panel onto some pink cardstock and found coordinating Nuvo Drops to add to the base of the flower, along with doodling three black dots. I finished the card with the perfect, petite sentiment from Right At Home's Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set.

This next card also features Abstract Florals Stamp Set, but I wanted to showcase how the elements could make something other than flowers! I created little bees flying through clouds with the stamps in the set. The bee bodies were stamped with Tiara Ink, the wings with Black Jack and second generation Black Jack stamping, and Midnight for the stripes. I used a black pen to create the eyes and stingers. The clouds were stamped in It's A Boy Ink, with second generation stamping as well. The flying wind and dots were stamped with Soft Stone Ink.

I finished the card with a custom colored sentiment panel (I swiped Soft Stone Ink onto white cardstock) and then stamped a sentiment from Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set.

Here's a listing of the participating blogs today:

I hope you enjoy seeing all the inspiration today on the hop. Remember to leave a comment on each blog post to be entered to win an item of your choice from the latest Right At Home Release!

All the Flamingos

All the flamingos. Just a fun little card I needed to put together for a friend who is going through a bit of a tough time. Inside, the card reads Warm Thoughts.

I stamped the cute flamingo from Hello Bluebird's Silly Birds onto bright pink cardstock with black ink, colored them in with colored pencils, added a heart and dots and then matted the panel with black. I mounted it to a white card base and finished with a stone gray sentiment strip, stamped with a Paper Smooches sentiment.

Catherine Pooler Designs:: The Perfect Reason :: And a Giveaway!!

Did you take advantage of the Flash Sale at Catherine Pooler Designs where these stamp sets and dies I'm featuring on my two cards today were on sale? The Perfect Reason Bundle, along with You Did It! Stamps make for perfect graduation cards or encouragement cards! For this first card, I started with a base of Sand Dunes Cardstock, then stamped some of the quirky, whimsical and utterly fun flowers and leaves onto premium White Card Stock using a mix of the Spa Collection: Zen Garden Inks and the Spa Collection: Paradise Found Inks. A few of the pieces I mounted with dimensional adhesive, and finished the card with a sentiment from You Did It! and some baker's twine.

This next card features how The Perfect Reason Dies can make for a fun card as well!

Here I started with a White Card Stock base, and die cut a number of flowers and leaves from solid colored cardstock from the  The Perfect Reason Dies and finished with a sentiment from You Did It! stamped with Melon Ice Ink. I added just a spattering of white Nuvo Drops as well.

So now on to the GIVEAWAY! If you leave a comment, you can win the The Perfect Reason Bundle from Catherine Pooler Designs. Comment below by Sunday Evening, and I will pick one comment randomly to win. (Open to US only, due to shipping restrictions.) (affiliate links used)
