Sweetest Bunny

Happy 11th Anniversary Ellen Hutson LLC! One of my favorite sets is Tree Farm by Brandi Kincaid, and I'm showcasing my favorite stamp from that set today, front and center. I stamped him in brown, colored with Copics and then added a banner stamped and gold heat embossed with a sentiment from MFT.

The colors were derived from the pretty image over at Cupcake Inspirations CIC433.

Where Creativity Meets C9:: Peace and Joy

Have you had a chance yet to be inspired to create your own Christmas Project for the Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #15?

I am severely lacking in holiday stamps, so I needed to think outside the box for this week's project. I started by stamping a beautiful buffalo plaid pattern from the Plaid Background Stamp Set and die cut a tag shape from the Sprinkles Bundle. I then fussy cut a beautiful flower from the Wildflower Stamp Set, and added a sentiment from the Many Mandalas Stamp Set (with a handwritten joy!) stamped onto the banner die cut from the Happy Card Frame Die Set.

I finished with by adding a bit of sparkle to the flower (because you need sparkle during the holidays!) and some Nuvo Drops.

The current challenge ends on November 29th, I hope you have a chance to play along! Check out Where Creativity Meets C9 on Facebook and Instragram-what an easy way to find some holiday inspiration!

Text Conversation

Have you checked out the Black Friday Sale over at Lil' Inker Designs? Some spectacular deals, even on the two newest sets that were released!

I created a card to showcase how well of the newest sets, Unstoppable, works so well with some previously released products. I used the stamp set I'm All You're All and the Speech Bubbles Die Set to create a text conversation and mounted that over a white panel that has been white heat embossed with one of the super fun patterns from Unstoppable and die cut with the Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles. The panel was mounted to a kraft card base.

On the inside, I stamped another fun pattern from Unstoppable and a sentiment from the set as well.

I hope that all of you had a great holiday (if celebrating Thanksgiving) and have a great weekend!

LID:: November Mini Release & Black Friday Sale

You are in for a treat today, because Lil' Inker Designs has a mini-release with two amazing stamp sets and a fantastic sale just in time for Black Friday! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jessica's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Designs' Blog for the full link up.)

My first project (above) features the the accordingly trendy, utterly fantastic and just amazing Unstoppable Stamp Set.  This set is just perfect for all your background needs. I had so much fun experimenting with patterns and colors, and made a lot of cards to share for the future! I even enlisted the help of my son...he chose colors from my ink pad stash, and chose his favorite patterns from Unstoppable and we made the card together. I finished with a banner with one of the brilliant, kind and uplifting sentiments included in the set.

My next card features the second stamp set from this mini release, Magical Winter, and its coordinating Magical Winter Dies. I started with an aqua background that was embossed with a previously released Quilted Stitched So Sunny Cover Up Die. I then added a sentiment strip that was heat embossed with a fun, handwritten sentiment from Magical Winter, and then finished the card with a fun unicorn from Magical Winter.

Here's a look at the new products featured in this mini release, that will be available on Black Friday.

Check out this graphic for the amazing sale that will be happening on the 24th at Lil' Inker Designs Store! Plus, you just might want to sign up for the store Newsletter, as there just might be a special in store that is showcased there as well!

It is with pleasure that I get to send you to the newest member of the Lil' Inker Designs team, the talented Kimberly Rendino, as the next stop along the hop. I hope you get a chance to visit the Lil' Inker Designs Store now as products are already up at the store!!

Don't forget to leave a unique comment along the each of the stops on the hop! Laura, the amazing owner, has decided to up the ante and graciously giveaway the ENTIRE release to one lucky commenter!

25 Days of Christmas Tags:: Concord & 9th

Christmas is right around the corner, isn't it? As usual, I start November out with a bang trying to be prepared and ahead of the game, but I usually fade as the month goes on and scramble as the holiday gets closer to get everything done!

I have a tag that I created for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Series hosted by the dear, sweet Tracey. Concord &9th is the sponsor today. Details can be found on Tracey's blog.

I couldn't wait to feature the amazing Ornamental Dies for today's tag. I cut the ornament and topper from white paper, backed it with a red circle and then added some silver Nuvo Drops and Paste to the topper. I finished with some glittery silver ribbon.

Orange Bouquet

Free flowing color inside the lines of beautiful flowers, love! I was inspired by the November Inspiration Challenge at Altenew and used the sets Garden Treasure and Remember This along with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink, Clear Embossing Powder and ColorBursts to achieve the look on these blooms. (The sentiment is from MFT.) I finished the card with a simple burlap wrap.

Big Guy

I am forever in need of simple and fun masculine birthday cards, and the guy from the Stay Strong Stamp Set from SugarPea Designs is just fantastic for the job. I'm playing along with the SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge #37, with both the colors in the inspiration photo and the sketch.

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge:: Christmas

There's a new Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge and it's all about the upcoming, busy holiday and the amazing products available at Concord & 9th as this challenge is dedicated to the innovative stamp company and their products!

There are so many beautiful stamp sets available at Concord & 9th that are great for this challenge, and you don't have to use all holiday related stamps. I turned the Many Mandalas into a pretty holiday card.

I started with a white card panel and stamped the series of mandalas with various shades of blue ink, with some silver thrown in. I then mounted this panel with a black mat onto a card base. I finished with a holiday sentiment from Magnolia Wreath Stamp Set and some lovely clear glitter Nuvo Drops. (affiliate links used)

The challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Concord & 9th and one lucky random entry will receive a $25 gift certificate for a Concord & 9th shopping spree. The favorite entry will be asked to guest design for a future challenge! The challenge runs until November 29th, so there is plenty of time to pull out your favorite Concord & 9th stamps and die and create an one layer project. Plus, new Concord & 9th products were released TODAY and they are fantastic! Just in time for holiday crafting!

You can find Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge on Facebook here, and their Instragram here!

A Birthday with Wine

Recently, as in the span of the past year, I discovered the delicacy of wine, especially the kind that a local resident sells. Yum, and it is especially better when the bottle is shared with a friend.

I am playing along in the Mix It Up Challenge with My Favorite Things over at Ellen Hutson. I started with the fun Ellen's Leading Ladies-Baker Lady image (I mean, this lady is perfect for me, right?) and selectively colored her. I drew and fussy cut a wine glass to pair in her hand. I then created some "wine waves" in the background with MFT's Snow Drifts DieNamics and then stamped the fun sentiment from MFT's Uncorked and Essentials Sentiments Stamp Sets.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2017:: LID

Christmas is right around the corner, isn't it? As usual, I start November out with a bang trying to be prepared and ahead of the game, but I usually fade as the month goes on and scramble as the holiday gets closer to get everything done!

I have a tag that I created for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Series hosted by the dear, sweet TraceyLil' Inker Designs is a sponsor, with a $35 Gift Certificate up for grabs. Details can be found on Tracey's blog.

I created a decorative tag using the Seasonal Stars Die Set. I simply die cut a star five times, scored down the middle, adhered the sides together to create a 3D star and then added chunky glitter to the edges. I then die cut the tag from Silly Stitched Squares Die Set and stamped the beautiful sentiment from All the Christmas You'll Ever Need Stamp Set. I finished with a bit of sparkle on the stars.
